Party planner extraordinaire

Yep, that's me! I started with Shabbos kallahs, now we're up to office meetings with foreign visitors. I think I liked the Shabbos kallah better, though, cuz I got to eat the leftovers.

It really, really bothers me when shadchanim give bad advice, even with the best of intentions, because people usually take it. And I wish that those who give such advice would think longer and harder before giving it, because it has the potential to seriously mess with people's lives.

Good thing/bad thing?

When I was printing out something I had typed today at work, one of the higher-ups was looking on, waiting for something of his to print out. He noticed my work and exclaimed, "Oh! You type in Hebrew? Good to know!"

On the one hand, I was flattered. On the other hand, I'm nervous, because even though he's not my boss, I'm now afraid he's going to "borrow" my services for typing. Just what I need...

I finally caved

Many of my friends have been telling me for months that I must have a blog, since I'm "so the type"--whatever that means. So I've decided to finally oblige them. I'm not really sure what I'm going to talk about, but I'm sure I'll think of something.
